But our opening is not too far off. We'll let you know as soon as we have a good date in mind for the Grand Opening. Until then...
We're still stocking the rooms and uncovering things that have been stored for months in preparation for our opening. Things are coming together. We promise! In the meantime, here's a walk down memory lane and the man behind the vision.
Holy cow! We've spent months painting the interior and now we're ready to start stocking the rooms with our amazing collection of furniture, collectibles, accessories and gift items. We can hardly wait to show you! Just a few more weeks and we'll be ready to open the doors to our amazing Victorian store. In the meantime, you can watch as we populate the yard. Our latest addition, a bronze longhorn, joins the horses, giant chimes and many other items yet to be revealed.
We've had the store on Main Street in Nacogdoches for a long time. It's basically been a storage facility. Now we're re-opening it to the public to share our eclectic collections. Be sure to stop by and take a peek. Here are just a couple of items to entice you!
...we thought we would share some photos of the new store location. It's a charming old Victorian on the outside, but the inside will be very eclectic, filled with the treasures Brad Fortney has accumulated during his years of collecting. We can't wait to show it to you.
After 22 years in this location, we are closing our Austin store and moving to Nacogdoches, Texas! We are relocating to a beautiful old Victorian home built in 1897 and designed by the famous architect, Diedrich Rulfs. We'll have double the floor space and a huge yard for all of our outdoor treasures. We hope you'll come visit us and explore our new digs.
All hands on deck. And all faces too. We've got a huge variety of clocks that hang on the wall, sit on your desk or anywhere you need to find the time. These aren't your run-of-the-mill clocks. Big, small, urban, eclectic, fun, historic, farmhouse, etc. If you've got the time, we've got the clocks. Come see!
We're loving this new lamp that just came in. The base looks like a tree trunk and the shade is superbly crafted metal. Wow!! It's out in front of the store...but not for long.
Something about these dog days of summer make us want to take a bench. Whether it is outside in the shade or indoors at the foot o the bed, it just feels good to relax for a bit. Here are a few suggestions of how you can work a bench into your decor. Cart one of these home and take a load off!
